PDS-128, PDS-128 Plus, 228CFX and related supplies. Aging electrolytics, failed regulators, and the clicking-relay symptom that gets misread as a dead control box.
Keydriver boards, solenoid driver boards, and MX expansion boards. Dead ranks of notes usually trace to driver channels rather than the solenoids themselves.

Why Refurbish
The replacement market for legacy player electronics is thin, expensive, and full of boards the same age as the one that just died.
A PianoCD or PDS-128 control box hasn’t been manufactured in years. eBay is the market, and every unit on it carries the same aging capacitors as the one you are replacing.
Electrolytic capacitors, regulators and relays are what age out. The board itself is generally fine. Replacing those parts restores the unit your customer already owns.
Plenty of excellent piano technicians have no interest in surface-mount rework, and shouldn’t need one. Diagnose the system, pull the unit, ship it, reinstall it. We handle the electronics.
PianoDisc’s official path for a dead legacy box is an iQ upgrade — a good option, but not what every customer wants or can afford. Refurbishment keeps the original system playing.

The unit is tested, the failure identified, and you get a written quote. No work starts until you approve it.
We do the work, test it under load, and ship it back. If we cannot repair it, you pay return shipping and nothing else.
